‘Gaudy’ is an independent and digital-first brand I created and operated between 2018-2019. It focused on blending new and second-hand items in categories like gifts and home decor. While the online store is no longer operational you can view examples of social media copy at @shopgaudy

At Gaudy, we offered colourful, curated pieces for individualists. Gaudy was proud to carry notable brands like Greenwich Letterpress and Valfré in addition to lesser known, but equally talented makers.

The Gaudy brand was all about being campy, joyful, and a little bit naughty. As a sole propitiator I had my elbows deep in all aspects of business including marketing and product design. Our tagline “Gaudy is the feeling” was designed to spark customers into imagining Gaudy as palpable energy and vibe more than a shopping experience. Gaudy’s online presence included strong social media strategy, a blog, loyalty club, and collaborations.
